By Leila Atelier, the Fulcrum Cushion features an intuitively alternating hand woven pattern.
She is the perfect balance between simplicity and deep tactile richness;
Milky natural handwoven texture paired with refined hand stitched detail & elevated by the natural glimmer of mother of pearl shell buttons.
Stitched and woven by hand using 100% natural, local, South African cotton which is hand dyed using environmentally considerate practices in Cape Town.
While each cushion in this style features the same design language & colour, the pattern responds to events in the process of weaving and as such, the repetition of pattern will vary slightly, making each piece unique.
This cloth is made entirely by hand using natural materials. Any irregularities, colour variances or imperfections are considered not as flaws but of confirmation of the earth and hands that made it.

Please note that we do allow refunds on this product within 10 days of delivery, however there is a 10% handling fee.
Art of Curation uses an economy door-to-door courier service to guarantee swift and direct deliveries across South Africa and the standard rate will appear at checkout.
Please note: Outlying and/or rural areas will have a surcharge that will be confirmed after placement of order for all furniture or large items.
Our courier service operates from Monday to Friday between 08:00 am and 17:00 pm.
Weekend or after-hours deliveries may be accommodated upon prior special request, subject to an additional surcharge.
The shipping lead time will vary based on the product and is dependant on the lead time specified in the product description. Items are dispatched as they are ready and you may receive more than one delivery. You will be notified by email of each individual shipment.
Please note that dispatch refers to when your order items are ready for shipping, not the date of delivery to your doorstep. Dispatch occurs when we hand over the items to our delivery partners responsible for the final delivery. Once dispatched, you can expect delivery within 2 to 5 working days through our economical South African door-to-door service.
For international shipments we use Fedex or UPS with a turnaround estimated at 2 - 8 days from the day of dispatch.
Please note that duties, taxes, and any applicable carrier brokerage fees are not incorporated into your order total during the checkout process for international orders.
For international orders please note that duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within your destination country. They are based on the value of the order, the type of product and the tax–free threshold, if it exists, for imported goods. These funds must be settled before the goods will be released to you. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.
We do not offer and returns or refunds on international shipments.

You have the flexibility to return or exchange any item that is eligible for a refund within 10 days from the delivery date, as long as it's in its original packaging and pristine condition. Once we've inspected the item and are content with its condition, you can expect a refund through your original payment method or the option to swap it for another product.
Please keep in mind that exchanges are only permitted for the exact same item (but in a different colour or print). If you desire an item with a different price tag from our store, you'll need to make a separate purchase or patiently wait for your refund to make a new purchase.
Regrettably, we are unable to accept returns for sale items. Additionally, please note that all shipping fees are non-refundable. Any expenses related to returning items are the customer's responsibility and will not be reimbursed.
